Our purpose
The purpose of Learning Design and Technology Services is to offer production and consultation services for Simmons University instructors. We know that you may have big ideas for your courses – like creating a podcast, redesigning your slideshows, producing maps or multimedia projects, making sure that your course is accessible to all students, or cleaning up your Moodle site – but you may not know where to begin. We are here to help!
Our services include course organization and accessibility audits, multimedia production, and custom-designed learning experiences. Depending on your needs, we’ll work with you from idea conception through to execution and testing. The resources and services outlined on this site are available to all instructors (full-time faculty or adjuncts) and are applicable to all teaching modalities (fully online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses).
We’re also creating a library of resources related to educational technologies that you can reference without getting in touch (though we do hope you reach out).
